Actress Go So-young apologized after failing to decorate her Gapyeong villa.
On the 25th, a video titled “Revealing the villa that has changed 360 degrees (?)” was posted on her YouTube channel ‘That Go So-young’.
Go So-young revealed, “I said to expect a ‘changed Gapyeong house,’ but it didn’t happen,” and added, “The ambitious plan was to lay mats on the entire first floor. But the construction was halted due to physical issues.”
She then said, “I tried to decorate the house nicely and planned a ‘before and after,’ but I was too reckless,” and apologized, saying, “I did my best, but it stopped here, and I’m opening it like this,” which brought laughter.
Regarding the disappearance of the sunbed in the garden, Go So-young joked, “I need to come here every day, but since I don’t use the house, it gets dirty. So if I want to go out, I take a chair from inside the house, sit outside, and then bring it back in. This is the reality of villa life.”
Go So-young also shared, “I can’t tell if it’s a vegetable garden or a weed garden. Be careful,” while revealing a vegetable garden full of weeds and wildflowers.
She added, “These days, I’m trying to enjoy it a bit. In the past, it was all about work, and I had an obsession with making this place perfect, but these days, it’s fine whether it’s there or not.”
The Gapyeong house built at the request of Jang Dong-gun and Go So-young is a 5-story building with a height of 20 meters finished with exposed concrete. In 2016, the World Architecture Community selected this house, completed in December 2013 by architect Kwak Hee-soo, as a winner of the 22nd World Architecture (WA) Awards.
Go So-young married Jang Dong-gun in May 2010 and has a son and a daughter. She recently opened a YouTube channel to communicate with her fans.
