The rematch between Park Bo-gum's righteous fist and Jung Man-sik's greedy fist is confirmed.
In the JTBC weekend drama 'Good Boy' (directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Lee Dae-il) airing on the 19th, the rematch between Yoon Dong-joo (Park Bo-gum) and Oh Jong-goo (Jung Man-sik) will unfold. Attention is focused on the final showdown that will put an end to the long-standing rivalry between the two 'boxers' from the past to the present.
The bitter feud between Yoon Dong-joo and Oh Jong-goo dates back to their days as athletes. Oh Jong-goo, a former heavyweight Asian champion and the national team’s head coach, sought to benefit from gold medalist Yoon Dong-joo. However, when Yoon Dong-joo did not comply with his wishes, he framed him with doping allegations, leading to his downfall. Afterward, he gathered retired athletes to run a security company, using drugs and weaknesses to direct illegal activities.
Yoon Dong-joo's cherished junior, Lee Kyung-il (Lee Jung-ha), also could not escape his trap. After an injury, he became dependent on narcotic painkillers and fell under Oh Jong-goo's command, ultimately taking the blame for Min Joo-young's (Oh Jung-se) hit-and-run incident and was imprisoned, leading to a tragic death. As the guilt for not being able to protect his junior deepened, Yoon Dong-joo's anger towards Oh Jong-goo intensified.
As Oh Jong-goo began to actively move with Min Joo-young, the clashes with Yoon Dong-joo became fiercer. Although they faced off several times, Yoon Dong-joo was repeatedly overpowered by Oh Jong-goo's fierce heavyweight punches. In the last broadcast, Oh Jong-goo's strike, cleverly targeting Yoon Dong-joo's weakness of punch drunk, blurred his vision and nearly led to blindness.
