Comedian Yang Se-hyung revealed the reason he failed the Korean cuisine chef exam.
On the 11th, the KBS2 entertainment program ‘Newly Launched Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereafter ‘Pyeon Restaurant’) featured a meeting between Lee Sang-woo and his close friend Yang Se-hyung.
On this day, Lee Sang-woo invited the gourmet Yang Se-hyung to validate his cooking, asking, “Don’t you have a Korean cuisine chef certification?” To this, Yang Se-hyung replied, “I took the exam and failed twice.”
When Lee Sang-woo asked, “You cook well, so why did you fail twice?” Yang Se-hyung started by saying, “I think that’s a skill too.”
He continued, “In the first exam, I dropped the finished dish. In the second exam, I was confident that I had passed after making all the dishes, but I ended up failing for cheating because I had time left and was helping the lady from the cooking academy with the same dish,” which caught attention.
