JTBC anchor Han Min-yong expressed her gratitude for the flood of congratulations following her pregnancy announcement.

I was worried that you might find a full-bellied anchor unfamiliar... but that concern was completely unnecessary. She added, “Now my belly is getting bigger, and I can’t even button my jacket. Fortunately, for some reason, I feel better than before and am doing well. Please take care of yourselves in this heat, and I’ll see you soon in the newsroom.”
Han Min-yong, who married her JTBC colleague Kim Min-kwan in 2021, revealed her pregnancy on the 26th of last month.
At that time, she expressed, “It seems that a full-bellied anchor is still an unfamiliar sight in our country. In fact, I also find my changing appearance a bit strange and awkward,” adding, “I’m a little worried if the viewers feel the same way. I hope it will be accepted naturally.”
Meanwhile, Han Min-yong is currently the main anchor for JTBC’s ‘Newsroom’ on weekdays. She holds the titles of the longest-serving weekend anchor in JTBC history, the first female main anchor on weekdays, and the youngest anchor.
