The fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar revealed the cover for the August issue featuring Jang Wonyoung.
In the covers released over two days, Jang Wonyoung captivated attention with her stunning visuals, showcasing everything from a lovely girl concept to a cold and aloof look befitting an 'Ice Princess.'
In an interview after the shoot, Jang Wonyoung shared her philosophy on leading trends with 'Lucky Vicky' and 'Wonyoung's Thinking,' regardless of age or gender.
Jang Wonyoung stated, "What I've felt is that effort always comes back in some form like a boomerang. If the results haven't followed, it just means the time isn't right yet," adding, "In such times, it's better to think, 'My efforts must be sprouting somewhere right now' rather than feeling discouraged," showcasing her unique bright and positive energy.
She also mentioned the title track 'ATTITUDE' from Ive's mini album 'IVE EMPATHY.'
Jang Wonyoung, who chose the line 'No matter how much I bump around, luck is always on my side' as her absolute favorite lyric, revealed, "My English name 'Vicky' has been my name since I was young, taken from the nickname of the goddess of victory, Victoria. My mom always named me to win, and it's fascinating that it has led to 'Lucky Vicky' now."
She continued, "Just like the lyrics, the phrase I used to say since kindergarten was 'The goddess of luck is on my side.' I believe words have power. So even if I bump around, luck will ultimately be on my side," showcasing her charm as a 'positive icon.'
