Actress Scarlett Johansson opened up about the anxiety she feels as an actress.

On the 9th, Scarlett Johansson appeared as a guest on tvN's ‘You Quiz on the Block’.

On that day, Scarlett Johansson said, "I love acting so much that I went to drama school and took vocal lessons. I have been consistently working as a child actor since I was young, auditioning regularly."

When Yoo Jae-suk asked, "I heard you often heard a certain phrase during auditions back then," Scarlett Johansson replied, "I was often asked, 'Are you sick?' because I had a husky voice since I was a child." She then laughed, saying, "However, this voice later became a great advantage for me."

When Jo Se-ho asked, "Did you ever dislike your voice during your teenage years?" Scarlett Johansson answered, "Yes. When I watch movies from my child acting days, my voice was lower and deeper than it is now. It has softened as I've grown older, but I think it was rougher when I was younger."

Jo Se-ho questioned, "Did you struggle because of your voice when you were young? Is there something you want to tell the current Scarlett Johansson?" Scarlett Johansson replied, "You might think you have a strange husky voice, but thanks to that voice, you will win an award at the Rome Film Festival. There's no problem, so don't worry," she laughed heartily.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson has mentioned in interviews that despite her 30-year long run in Hollywood, she is "always anxious as an actress." Regarding this, Scarlett Johansson revealed, "Everything is anxious. There are so many things to be anxious about."

She continued, "Every time I start a new project, I become very anxious. When I was filming 'Jurassic World: Dominion', I even had existential worries for the first two weeks. I wondered, 'Am I the right person for this role?' I had no idea if I was doing well. I think it was because I couldn't fully grasp the character. As I filmed, my anxiety gradually disappeared. As I got to know the project better, my anxiety faded. Still, I am always anxious," she said.
