Director Kim Tae-soo of 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' talked about his slump.
On the broadcast of SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2') on the 30th of last month, actor Park Ha-na, who is in her 22nd year of debut, and Kim Tae-soo, a star player representing the basketball world, drew attention by revealing their daily life as a couple for the first time.
On that day, Park Ha-na expressed her affection, saying, "It feels like destiny," and "I met a partner that I like so much that I wonder if I have lived diligently."
The two, who call each other 'partner' and 'mate', made Park Ha-na smile when Kim Tae-soo described her as "My mate is a very warm person, caring, and beautiful." Park Ha-na also showed a loving gaze, saying, "My partner is very considerate, wise, and handsome." MC Kim Sook commented on the sweet atmosphere, saying, "It seems like there won't be any dreams of separation until now."
The two, who decorated their newlywed home in the two-story house where Park Ha-na lived, were living with three pet parrots. On that day, while 'cooking expert' Park Ha-na quickly prepared a home-cooked meal, Kim Tae-soo impressed everyone by neatly organizing the laundry.
Park Ha-na praised Kim Tae-soo, saying, "This man is so lovable. I think I had a preconceived notion that athletes are blunt and masculine. But my brother is good at household chores," adding, "I brag to people around me that 'I met an athlete who is really good at household chores.'" In response, basketball senior Seo Jang-hoon claimed, "Kim Tae-soo is particularly good. Not everyone is like that," certifying him as a 'top husband material.'
Meanwhile, Park Ha-na showcased her cooking skills by quickly preparing a 12-course meal. She explained, "I can't stand lacking. Even if I live alone, I think preparing a hearty and healthy meal is a reward for myself," sharing her thoughts about her difficult childhood. Park Ha-na revealed, "I think I might have unconsciously been left with a sense of deficiency. Even when I'm alone, I feel like I need to eat grandly to feel like 'I have succeeded.'
Additionally, Park Ha-na, who grew up in her grandmother's care instead of her busy parents, added, "I have a deficiency regarding family, so I had a fantasy of a harmonious family. I think I have long dreamed of having my own fence." She continued, "Thanks to my brother, I laugh out loud at least once a day. This is very happy," evoking feelings of support and congratulations from viewers.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-soo, who was dismissed as the youngest professional basketball coach after leading the team for five months, confessed his true feelings about it for the first time. First, Kim Tae-soo talked about the slump that came right after he moved to a new team in 2014, receiving good treatment.
He shared that he spent painful days due to the cold reactions he received at that time, but added, "Strangely, as the wounds healed, calluses formed, and those calluses became armor that protected me."
He stated, "If there is a sentence that supports me, it is 'Everything will be fine anyway.' Even when the dismissal decision was made, I didn't feel good, but I knew that this too would pass and that I would be able to succeed elsewhere, so the impact wasn't that great," revealing his inner thoughts.
Park Ha-na remarked, "This aspect made me respect my brother. I don't think I would have been able to get back up if it were me," and Kim Tae-soo responded, "Going through tough times together made me realize once again that Ha-na is a good person, and it seems to have become a chance for us to become stronger," revealing their deepening affection for each other.
On that day, Kim Tae-soo also prepared a proposal event. Although it was heartfelt, his somewhat clumsy proposal made Park Ha-na say, "I was thinking of a touching proposal... You're going to do it again, right?" Kim Tae-soo, who had been showing 'same bed, different dreams' with Park Ha-na regarding household items and wedding gifts, humorously replied, "But doing it twice isn't efficient," eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, next week's broadcast will feature the star voice actor couple Jung Hyung-seok and Park Ji-yoon, who are well-known just by their voices. It will air on the 7th at 10:10 PM.
