Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo candidly shared his feelings about the dating rumors.
On the 14th, in the MBN and Channel S entertainment program ‘Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2’, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embarked on a food trip to popular travel destinations Yangpyeong and Chuncheon with the 'entertainment rising star' Choi Daniel. They introduced Jeon Hyun-moo's 'soul food' from the entertainment awards, sundae guk (blood sausage soup), and for the first time on ‘Jeon Hyun-moo Plan’, they welcomed 'Hweiryeong dumplings', a North Korean dish, and generously introduced the best restaurants to conquer 'Chuncheon Dakgalbi', making the living room buzz with excitement. In particular, Jeon Hyun-moo and Choi Daniel shared their thoughts on dating rumors and marriage, showcasing a fantastic 'talk chemistry' that captivated viewers' attention.
On that day, at the picturesque Galsan Park in Yangpyeong, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube greeted each other, declaring, "Today, we are going on a youth train trip from Yangpyeong to Chuncheon, which is popular among MZ generation." Jeon Hyun-moo introduced his soul food in Yangpyeong, saying, "This is the place I visited again after receiving the 'Entertainment Awards' in 2022," which excited Kwak Tube. The two settled in a restaurant where two of Jeon Hyun-moo's signed photos were displayed and enjoyed precious boiled pork with various cuts, including cheek, tongue, ear, and jaw, along with traditional sundae guk, exclaiming, "This is truly hexagonal flavor!"
After finishing their first meal warmly, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Today, my eating friend is coming. He is a star I rediscovered and guided into the entertainment world," and set off to meet Choi Daniel. Shortly after, the three met and exchanged warm greetings, while Kwak Tube revealed his 'fan heart' for Choi Daniel, experiencing a 'fan moment'. They then headed to a famous dumpling restaurant known as the 'holy land for riders'. After securing a reservation, the three settled in, and water kimchi with ice floating on top was served first. Choi Daniel then put the water kimchi in his mouth and performed a hilarious 'kimchi show', tearing it apart and exclaiming, "It's refreshing!" He even put a hot dumpling in his mouth and struggled, causing laughter. Kwak Tube, the 'fan', was greatly flustered by this unexpected reaction, and Jeon Hyun-moo predicted, "You will fall out of fandom today," which set the scene ablaze.
Next, the three tasted the 'Hweiryeong dumpling soup' with its clear broth and the attractively spicy 'Hweiryeong ttukbaegi' before finishing their first North Korean food mukbang. Following that, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Let's find the 'real' stronghold of Chuncheon Dakgalbi," leading Kwak Tube and Choi Daniel to conduct a 'street interview'. After narrowing down several recommended restaurants from citizens, Jeon Hyun-moo added, "There’s also a local restaurant recommended by 'Chuncheon ambassador' Alberto Mondi," and they headed to a 32-year-old traditional dakgalbi restaurant.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, the three were immediately captivated as a special 'Chuncheon Dakgalbi' mixed with chicken and chicken innards was placed on a silver iron plate and began to cook. Suddenly, Jeon Hyun-moo shouted at Choi Daniel, "So what are you going to do, marriage!" and asked, "Did you ever feel excited about Japanese actor Takada Kaho, who was your partner on the dating program?" Choi Daniel, taken aback, replied, "Yes, I felt excited. It was thrilling," providing the answer everyone wanted and turning the scene upside down.
Furthermore, Kwak Tube directly asked Jeon Hyun-moo, "Recently, there were dating rumors with a 20-year-younger announcer. How do you feel about your own dating rumors?" Jeon Hyun-moo began, "Whenever dating rumors arise, the first thought that comes to mind is that I feel sorry for that person." He continued, "I ask that person, 'Aren't you uncomfortable?' and if they say it's okay, I leave it alone. I already have a lot of scars, so I don't care. These days, it's not easy for new announcers to get attention, so I'm glad that through these dating rumors, that person is getting noticed. If this is a way to let people know about you, then I'm okay with it," confessing his heartfelt and honest thoughts. The three then finished off with fried rice, concluding their expedition to discover 'Chuncheon Dakgalbi'.
Afterward, the released 'cookie video' showed Jeon Hyun-moo bowing deeply to Alberto Mondi, who had informed them about hidden dakgalbi gems in Chuncheon, bringing laughter. The food trip to find more special restaurants in Chuncheon continues in the 18th episode of the jointly produced MBN and Channel S entertainment show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2', airing on the 21st at 9:10 PM.
