Singer Seven and actress Lee Da-hae show the essence of a 'couple to aspire to.'
In the 166th episode of Channel A's ‘Recent Men's Life - Groom Class’ (hereafter ‘Groom Class’), which airs on the 4th, Lee Da-hae executes a 'support day' for her husband Seven ahead of his long business trip to China, while Seven responds with a sweet day filled with a surprise event for Lee Da-hae.
On this day, Lee Da-hae sends a 'Da-hae Dream Coffee Truck' to her husband's musical performance venue, showcasing her 'ultimate support' by not only setting up drinks but also serving them to fellow actors. After boosting her husband's spirits, Lee Da-hae heads to a restaurant with Seven after the performance. Seven reminisces, saying, “This is actually the spot of the kimbap restaurant we visited 10 years ago, but the business has changed, and the kimbap place is gone, only the location remains. I remember when we first came to the kimbap restaurant, we were in the 'getting to know each other' phase, and I suddenly kissed you. Do you remember?”
He continues, “Since it’s been 10 years of dating, I wanted to come to this place to remember that day.” Lee Da-hae responds, “That’s right. It is,” getting lost in memories, and shortly after, Seven plays a tablet placed on the restaurant table. Inside the tablet is a '10th Anniversary Commemorative Video' that Seven had prepared, surprising Lee Da-hae.
As Lee Da-hae watches the '10th Anniversary Commemorative Video' made by Seven, she gets emotional, and Seven says, “All the places where we proposed and had our first kiss are gone. It seems that after 10 years, almost all the places of our memories have disappeared.” Lee Da-hae responds, “When did time pass so quickly?” and adds, “But we are still holding on well~,” making Seven smile.
A little later, when the 'menu from 10 years ago at the kimbap restaurant' that they ordered arrives, Lee Da-hae suddenly asks, “But why did you kiss me out of the blue back then?” She continues, “We weren’t alone; there were friends around too?” with sparkling eyes. Seven ponders for a moment and honestly confesses the situation and feelings from that day.
As curiosity grows about what he reveals, Lee Da-hae shares, “I found the 'spouse prayer' I wrote 12 years ago. Looking at it now, everything matches (with Seven),” expressing her amazement. She then details the contents of the 'spouse prayer' she wrote back then, raising curiosity about what aspects matched with Seven and how he reacted to hearing it.
‘Groom Class’ airs every Wednesday at 9:30 PM on Channel A.
