'Korean Trot Queen' Jang Yoon-jung makes a reappearance as a master in the semifinals of 'Mr. Trot Japan'.

In the 8th episode of the TV Chosun entertainment program 'Mr. Trot Japan', airing on the 24th at 3:20 PM, the second round of the main competition's 1-on-1 death match will be broadcast along with the semifinals rival duet medley. As the contestants get closer to the threshold of victory, the competition becomes fiercer, and the master corps continues to deliberate.

'Mr. Trot Japan' was produced in Japan as an export of the 'Mr. Trot' format. It first aired in Japan on February 19 and became a hot topic, ranking first in all categories on local video platforms with high viewership.

The finale of the second round of the main competition's 1-on-1 death match will feature 'Comprehensive No. 1 Monster High School Student' Shima Yuki and 'One and Only Entertainer Singer' Shiitaka. This match is drawing attention as it pits the youngest student against the oldest singer. Master Ahn Seong-hoon, after watching the performance, expresses his admiration for Shima Yuki, saying, "It's hard to believe he's only 17, as his expressiveness is delicate and his singing is stable until the end. He seems to be a promising talent."

He continues to express his deep impression of Shiitaka, saying, "What surprised me the most was that he sang with his eyebrows. His performance, like a beautiful purple peacock sweeping across the stage, will surely be remembered even when I go to Korea." This raises curiosity about who will emerge as the protagonist advancing to the semifinals in the fierce showdown between Shima Yuki and Shiitaka.

Meanwhile, the first contestant in the audience-voted semifinals rival duet medley will be 'Solo Artist' Junho and 'Student Aspiring to be a Singer' Takano Koda. Due to distance, they were unable to practice together, so Junho traveled from Korea to Japan to practice at Takano's home, preparing a stage with the remakes of 'First Love' by legendary singer Shin Seung-hoon and 'Power Boy' by Big Bang's D-LITE.

Master Jang Yoon-jung praises, "Junho's voice is filled with breath, and Takano has a strong voice, so their teamwork was very well matched." It remains to be seen whether they can captivate not only the master corps but also the audience who hold the fate of the contestants.

'Mr. Trot Japan' will air on Saturday, the 24th, at 3:20 PM on TV Chosun.
