Actress Han Ga-in (43) has been reported to have sent money to her staff who were going through a difficult situation.
On the 22nd, a video of Han Ga-in and her husband, actor Yeon Jung-hoon, celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary was posted on the YouTube channel 'Free Woman Han Ga-in'.
Han Ga-in said, “Since it’s our 20th anniversary, we thought about having a small wedding again, taking photos, doing something with the kids, and making grand plans, but when it came down to it, it seemed cumbersome, so we decided to have dinner with our favorite people, excluding family, which are our staff.”
At the celebration, close staff members, including stylists, hair stylists, and makeup artists who have worked with Han Ga-in for over 20 years, gathered to share stories.
During the conversation, a touching story about Han Ga-in was revealed. First, the hair stylist said, “When I was having trouble sleeping and struggling, I heard about Han Ga-in’s orthostatic hypotension, and it made me feel like I was living a new life,” adding, “She is a lifesaver recognized by my whole family.”
Han Ga-in recalled, “I had the same symptoms as her. But she thought she only had panic disorder. When I heard her symptoms, they were so similar to mine that I took her to the hospital. Yeon Jung-hoon arranged the hospital visit.”
The makeup artist then shared, “I was considering quitting because I was struggling. She suddenly kept asking about my situation. At that time, I had just bought a car, and after our conversation, she sent 20 million won to my bank account after we parted ways,” expressing gratitude, “I was having a hard time because of money, and I was worried that I couldn’t quit.”
Hearing this, Han Ga-in became emotional and said, “We talk and laugh, but if I go into detail, it was such a tough time that it could bring tears. We went through hard times together and were there for each other when it was tough. It doesn’t feel like just a relationship between a celebrity and staff anymore. That relationship has passed, and we can talk without holding anything back, so that’s why I did it with that heart.”
Han Ga-in debuted as a model for a domestic airline commercial in 2002 and began her acting career with the drama 'Sunshine Hunting' the same year. The following year, she married actor Yeon Jung-hoon, whom she met in the drama 'Yellow Handkerchief', in 2005, and they have one son and one daughter.
Since then, Han Ga-in has appeared in various dramas such as 'Conditions of Love', 'Witch's Romance', 'Bad Guy', 'The Moon Embracing the Sun', and 'Mistress', but she has had a relatively long hiatus.
