Lee Sang-min, a broadcaster from the group Lula, revealed his love story with his 10-year-younger wife.
On the 11th, SBS's "My Ugly Duckling" (hereafter "My Ugly Duckling") revealed the process leading up to Lee Sang-min's recent marriage.
Visiting Kim Jun-ho's house, Lee Sang-min said, "Jun-ho, I'm getting married. I brought the marriage registration form. My fiancée has already filled it out. Not everyone dates for three years like you. The length of the relationship isn't that important," he laughed. He then added, "From today, we are a couple," as he filled out the marriage registration form.
When Seo Jang-hoon appeared, he asked to see a photo of the fiancée, and Lee Sang-min replied, "We video call for 4-5 hours a day. I'll show you a photo I captured during a video call," and showed the picture.
Seeing the photo, Seo Jang-hoon exclaimed, "She's beautiful! She has a bit of a model vibe," and Kim Jun-ho added, "She also has a resemblance to Kang Soo-ji."
Lee Sang-min described his wife as "an angel sent from heaven," saying, "I got to know her while working last year outside of broadcasting. We dated for three months. My girlfriend is not that young either. She is 10 years younger than me and is an ordinary office worker."
He continued, "We had no interest in each other until January of this year when I visited the hospital due to panic disorder, which was the most serious time for me. I was completely burned out. I wanted to talk to someone, but I couldn't tell close people. While looking through my phone contacts, I saw her name and, without realizing it, mustered the courage to ask if she had time."
He added, "I suggested we have a meal, and she replied, 'How about tomorrow?' I was being abstract, but she was like a female Seo Jang-hoon. She quickly gave me an answer, which relieved my heart. After that, we started talking on the phone, and I felt she was someone I could be comfortable with. I thought getting married would relieve me of further stress."
Lee Sang-min also mentioned the moment his wife decided to marry him. He said, "My wife said there was a decisive moment. While we were on a trip to Japan, an elderly woman's walking aid fell over. The child's mother tried to help, but the child fell. I reached out and caught the child, and my girlfriend saw that. After that, she said I looked really cool."
Regarding the wedding, Lee Sang-min said, "My wife is getting married for the first time and is an ordinary person, so I thought she would want to have a wedding, but she didn't like that. It costs money and all. For me, the marriage registration is the wedding," indicating his wife's consideration.
Then, they connected a phone call with Lee Sang-min's wife, who expressed her affection, saying, "Oppa cooks well for me. He's clumsy with the knife, but that makes him cute."
