Lee Ah-hyun bursts into tears at Son Chang-min's demand for divorce.
In the 20th episode of KBS1's daily drama “Seize the Great Luck” (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo), which is set to air on the 9th, Han Mu-cheol (played by Son Chang-min), who failed to escape overseas while being chased by creditors, ultimately demands a divorce from Lee Mi-ja (played by Lee Ah-hyun).
Previously, Mu-cheol was discovered by creditors before his departure and lost all his possessions. Now a drifter, Mu-cheol transferred the ownership of Daewoon Building to Choi Gyu-tae (played by Park Sang-myeon), but as he faced the risk of losing the rest of his remaining assets, he decided to pursue a consensual divorce.
In this episode, Mi-ja is shocked by Mu-cheol's sudden demand for divorce and bursts into tears. Unaware of Mu-cheol's true reasons, Mi-ja misunderstands it to be related to his relationship with Jang-mi (played by Seo-young) and falls into an emotional turmoil. This raises curiosity about the circumstances that led Mu-cheol, cornered, to demand a consensual divorce from Mi-ja.
The meeting between Mi-ja and Mu-cheol at the family court, having experienced all sorts of ups and downs, is also captured. Attention is focused on whether Mi-ja, who dreamed of a graceful swan-like life, will accept Mu-cheol's demand for divorce, and whether the two can overcome the unprecedented crisis that has come upon them.
Mu-cheol's son Han Tae-ha (played by Park Ji-sang) also suffers from a fraud incident, causing the family to fall apart overnight. Angered by the resentment from Tae-ha and Han Seo-woo (played by Lee So-won), Mu-cheol ultimately takes actions he should not have. Now left with nothing, Mu-cheol makes a final decision for the sake of his remaining family. Viewers are left wondering what conclusion Mu-cheol will reach at the end of this crisis.
