Singer Hanhae reminisced about Aesone's Lee Min, who passed away last August.
On the 30th of last month, Hanhae posted on SNS, “I received back the champagne I gifted to Sister Min-Young three months later. It’s so like her to have kept it in a place where it can be seen well at home,” along with a photo.
The photo featured the champagne that Hanhae had gifted to Lee Min. It appears that Hanhae wrote on the champagne, “To. Sister Min! Thank you for your voice, which is as beautiful as a gem.”
Hanhae shared, “Sister always treated me so well. Since my early twenties, she would always hug me and pinch my cheeks, and even now at thirty-six, she would hug me the same way in the recording studio, saying that I’ve become handsome with muscles after gaining weight,” recalling his memories with Lee Min during her lifetime.
He added, “I feel both the joy of releasing a song that Sister loved to record and the longing for her, as it has been less than two months since she left us. Please listen to Aesone’s ‘I Just Love You’ a lot, and remember her voice for a long time.”
Aesone's Lee Min passed away at her home on August 5, at the age of 46. Aesone released her posthumous work, ‘I Just Love You,’ which contains her voice, on the 30th of last month.
Until recently, Aesone had been engaging with fans through various activities such as broadcasts, performances, and OSTs, and this single marks the end of her 26-year music journey.
