Jeong Ji-seon challenged herself to make bats in Taiwan.

In the episode aired on the afternoon of the 12th, KBS2's entertainment program ‘Sajangnim Gwireun Dangnagwi’ featured Jeong Ji-seon and his staff participating as representatives of Korea in a VIP fine dining event.

During the broadcast, Jeong Ji-seon said, “Let’s make a test plate,” and started making bats. However, he encountered a problem, saying, “Is the sugar the issue? I’m just heating water and sugar slowly to evaporate the steam, but the sugar in Taiwan is clumped together severely,” and he checked other brands of sugar but was flustered, saying, “The granules are really thick.”

After pondering for a while, he poured oil into the sugar and explained, “In China, they usually make it with oil. The gloss, elasticity, and color are much better with oil, but beginners do it safely with water, while professionals make it quickly with oil. However, making it in large quantities is difficult,” and he attempted to make oil bats for the first time.

After many twists and turns, he made a sugar solution, placed it on a tray to make bats, and stored it in the refrigerator for a while to prevent it from melting. Later, he saw that moisture had formed in the bats and said, “It’s because the temperature isn’t right,” and suggested, “Let’s leave it at room temperature for a while.”

‘Sajangnim Gwireun Dangnagwi’ can be seen every Sunday at 4:45 PM on KBS2.
