Singer Hwang Min-ho has declared a 'generation change of the Drum Prince' with his diverse charms.
Hwang Min-ho appeared as a special guest on TV CHOSUN’s ‘Miss Three Rang’ broadcast on the 26th, featuring a special segment titled ‘Devil’s Talent’.
On this day, Hwang Min-ho opened the show with a performance of Bae Il-ho's ‘I Will Live in Style’ alongside Park Kwang-hyun, Kim Hong-nam, and Lee Soo-yeon, taking the lead in the competition. Before the contest, Hwang Min-ho shared that he has been busy for 24 hours, stating, “I am attending a speech academy to improve my speaking skills, and since I need to be taller, I practice jumping rope and using the pull-up bar at home. I’ve also been doing Pilates lately.”
Additionally, Hwang Min-ho, who has recently showcased a dazzling drum performance on stage, expressed his unique confidence. He mentioned, “I think it’s time to change the generation of the ‘Drum Prince’,” raising expectations for his performance.
Hwang Min-ho formed a fresh chemistry with Lee Soo-yeon, bringing smiles to the viewers. When Lee Soo-yeon said, “You play the drum so well that I want to take a lesson from you,” Hwang Min-ho shyly replied, “Actually, this is the first time I’ve heard someone call me ‘oppa’.” He then promised to teach Lee Soo-yeon how to play the drum, making everyone laugh.
In the third round, Hwang Min-ho faced off against Miss Kim. He stated, “I brought my drum. I’ve never played the drum on ‘Miss Three Rang’ before. So today, I will showcase a drum performance,” and added, “I have never lost on ‘Miss Three Rang’, so I will make Miss Kim regret choosing me.”
Hwang Min-ho declared, “To show how genuine I am, I will perform Lee Myung-hwa’s ‘Genuine’,” and presented his prepared stage. With refreshing vocal power and an exciting drum performance, Hwang Min-ho turned the stage upside down and received cheers for his passionate performance, ultimately claiming victory.
Alongside this, Hwang Min-ho continued with a duet performance of ‘Yeonriji’ with Lee Soo-yeon and Jang Min-ho. Taking on a little couple concept with Lee Soo-yeon, Hwang Min-ho expressed, “I hope everyone feels energized listening to this song,” showcasing his impressive vocal ability filled with deep emotion.
Meanwhile, Hwang Min-ho recently participated in MBN’s fierce competition for the Taegeuk mark, ‘Current King of Singers 2’, advancing to the third round of the finals. He is currently meeting fans through various broadcasts and content, and has recently released a new song titled ‘Mannani’.
