In tvN’s ‘That Guy is a Black Dragon’, Choi Hyun-wook brings laughter as he begins living with his in-laws.
The tvN Monday-Tuesday drama ‘That Guy is a Black Dragon’ (Directed by Lee Soo-hyun / Written by Kim Soo-yeon / Produced by Studio N / Planned by Studio Dragon) is an office romance about ‘Department Head Killer’ Baek Soo-jung, who suffers from a first love that has become a dark history, and ‘third-generation chaebol’ Ban Joo-yeon, who lives while hiding his inner fanboy, the Black Dragon. The story depicts the soft reunion of two people who met in an online game as children and ended up with the worst relationship, as they meet again at work.
In the previous episode 9, after discovering the identity of the dark history, Baek Soo-jung (played by Moon Ga-young) and Ban Joo-yeon (played by Choi Hyun-wook) face a breakup but realize that their first love for each other was genuine, leading to a rekindling of their past romance. Notably, the ending of episode 9 delivered a shock as Joo-yeon was informed of his dismissal from the department, raising curiosity.
In the meantime, the production team of ‘That Guy is a Black Dragon’ has captured attention by releasing stills of Joo-yeon exuding the aura of a master housewife at Soo-jung’s home. In the released stills, Joo-yeon is seen tying on an apron with a bright smile. The stark contrast between the white headscarf and the flashy bandana he often wore during hard rock performances makes him look like a refined newlywed, bringing laughter to viewers.
