Model and influencer Heo Seong-beom shares his experience meeting GD (G-Dragon), who has become a professor at KAIST.
The MBC entertainment program ‘Radio Star’ (planned by Kang Young-sun / directed by Kim Myung-yeob and Hwang Yoon-sang), which will air on the afternoon of the 26th, features a special episode titled ‘Survival People, Blood Player’ with guests Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Pani Bottle, and Heo Seong-beom.
Heo Seong-beom is referred to as ‘the new face of KAIST’. He gained recognition as a model while capturing the hearts of many, and after going through the Department of Computer Science, he is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Recently, he appeared on the survival program ‘Blood Game 3’, gaining fame as ‘Jang Dong-min’s calculator’.
Heo Seong-beom participated as a panelist in a talk concert held when GD was appointed as a visiting professor at KAIST, and he shared a story about having a meal with him before the appointment ceremony. He revealed the reason he felt ‘happy’ with just one word from GD, sparking curiosity among everyone. Heo Seong-beom heightened interest by stating that he made a ‘candid remark’ regarding GD becoming a professor at KAIST based on what he saw and felt.
Meanwhile, Heo Seong-beom expressed that he feels the change in popularity after appearing on ‘Blood Game 3’. He mentioned meeting around 200 fans waiting for him with signs at an airport in Indonesia. Additionally, he stated that he is actively working as a model for a well-known domestic laptop brand and study cafes, surprising everyone with his popularity both domestically and internationally.
In particular, he surprised everyone by sharing a story from his elementary school days when he took the gifted education center exam without any preparation and ranked in the top 1%. He later attended a gifted high school and KAIST, shyly confessing that he is a ‘natural-born overachiever’.
