Kim Shin-rok, an actress from Seoul National University, is going on a house-hunting trip in Gwanak-gu for the new semester.
In the MBC entertainment program “Save Me! Homes” airing at 10 PM on the 27th, a special episode for college students' house-hunting will feature Seoul National University.
This broadcast will focus on Gwanak-gu, known as the holy land for student housing, as part of the new semester special. The house-hunting team will include actress Kim Shin-rok, along with Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan, as they venture to the prestigious Seoul National University, where the spirit of Gwanak Mountain flows.
Before the house-hunting begins, Kim Shin-rok appears in the studio and shares her thoughts on joining the show, saying, “I came to explore MBC entertainment. I am actress Kim Shin-rok.” The “Homes” coordinators express their excitement, saying, “I’ve really wanted to meet you,” and “I enjoyed your dramas ‘The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate’ and ‘Hell’.”
While introducing Kim Shin-rok, Park Na-rae mentions, “I went to university three times,” to which Kim Shin-rok reveals that after graduating from the Department of Geography at Seoul National University, she attended the Graduate School of Theater and Film at Hanyang University and the Korea National University of Arts. When Yang Se-hyung says, “I also attended three schools from elementary to high school,” Kim Shin-rok surprises everyone by saying, “I attended school for over 20 years, including kindergarten.”
When asked if she has any tips for memorizing rapid-fire lines in dramas, Kim Shin-rok responds, “I tend to memorize using my body. I also memorize movements that match the script,” adding, “I study better in a living room or café with a bit of noise rather than in a study or quiet room.”
Currently appearing in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama “Undercover High School,” Kim Shin-rok expresses her special affection for the new drama. When asked about her viewership rating promise, she says, “If the ratings exceed 10%, I will try to appear on ‘Homes’ with actor Seo Kang-joon,” which reportedly drew cheers from Park Na-rae and Kim Sook.
Kim Shin-rok, along with Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan, will kick off the show in front of the main gate of Seoul National University, where the so-called ‘Sha’ sculpture is located. Yang Se-chan expresses, “It’s such an honor. If I made it from Dongducheon to ‘Sha’, that’s a success,” while Yang Se-hyung adds, “Even if you combine my and Yang Se-chan’s college entrance exam scores, we couldn’t get in here. A four-year university is tough. My score was 88 out of 400.”
As Yang Se-hyung unexpectedly reveals his college entrance exam score, the studio buzzes, and the “Homes” coordinators share their own scores. Park Na-rae admits to scoring 160, while Joo Woo-jae reveals, “I scored 420 out of 500,” drawing attention.
The college students' house-hunting episode will air on the 27th at 10 PM on MBC’s “Save Me! Homes.”
