Broadcasters Park Na-rae, Pung-ja, and Kim Jin-woo introduced various properties in Taean and Dangjin on the West Sea.
On the 6th, the MBC entertainment program ‘Save Me! Homes’ featured the second part of the island special, showcasing properties on ‘West Sea Islands & Beaches’.
This episode was the ‘Island Exploration Part 2’, following the island exploration in Geoje Island aired last August, and it headed to Dangjin and Taean on the West Sea. Park Na-rae, who has often expressed her dream of having a beach house through the show, set out with professional camper Pung-ja and singer Kim Jin-woo, who hails from an island.
The first destination for the three was the ‘Sonanji Island Villa House’ in Seokmun-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Located about a 10-minute boat ride from Dobi-do Port, Sonanji Island was within walking distance from the dock. There was a mooring facility in front of the property, and a personal boat was provided as a basic option. Surrounded by a pine forest, the property had a villa-like charm and offered a refreshing sea view. The interior also caught attention with its dazzling natural light and overwhelming ceiling height.
The second property was an ‘Uninhabited Island Property’ in Geunheung-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. The uninhabited island was located about 5 km from the mainland and took 30 minutes by boat to reach. With a land area of approximately 35,995 square meters, it boasted the size of five and a half soccer fields. On one side of the island, there was a sandy beach where boats could dock, and the wave-eroded cliffs were captivating.
Next, the three explored the ‘Mokdak Island Pebble House’ located in Sowon-myeon, Taean-gun. This island, near Mallipo Beach in Taean, was the first national park property featured on ‘Homes’. While construction activities are restricted in national parks, it was revealed that the property was built before it was designated as a national park and could only be remodeled. The three-story pebble house, boasting a stunning beach view, was currently in a state where only the framework remained, and Park Na-rae revealed the mysterious story behind this house, evoking sympathy.
Finally, the three visited a ‘2 billion won house within walking distance of the beach’ in Geunheung-myeon, Taean-gun. Located within walking distance from Yeonpo Beach, a beautiful second house appeared as they walked up the forest path. Styled like a forest camping house, it featured a spacious deck terrace suitable for BBQ parties. The cozy living room, surrounded by trees, offered a view of the sea, and the interior was stylishly remodeled four years ago.
Meanwhile, in ‘Save Me! Global Homes’, which checks the global market prices of various foreign houses, they embarked on a global exploration to Egypt, the land of ancient myths with pyramids and the Sphinx. Among various activities and affordable prices, they checked out various residential facilities in ‘Dahab’, Egypt, which has gained great popularity as a resort due to its proximity to the sea next to the desert.
First, they introduced the place where Bedouins, one of the 34 ethnic minorities in Egypt, live. True to their long nomadic lifestyle, the interiors were dark, and they lived in a sitting position, with a space for enjoying tea.
Next, they revealed properties remodeled for foreigners and their prices, showcasing luxury homes in the El Gouna area, known for its emerald waters. The standalone house, complete with a lawn and private pool, allowed for beautiful sea views from various parts of the spacious living room and dining room.
MBC’s ‘Save Me! Homes’ airs every Thursday at 10 PM.
