Singer Yong Jun-hyung has revealed a conflict with his agency Black Made.
On the 20th, Yong Jun-hyung posted on SNS, “On the day of last year's album release, I was suddenly called and told that the business had increased and that they would terminate the contract without any conditions.”
He continued, “When I said, ‘I can’t understand and I’m confused,’ they suddenly said, ‘Let’s try again.’ Then, within a month or two, they unilaterally told me to ‘leave the company.’ But they demanded that I pay the money invested by a distributor I had never approved or discussed, along with the penalty amount set by the company.”
He expressed his frustration, saying, “The reason they want me to pay the penalty is that they mention various items in the contract. However, I have never violated anything since the contract... Are they asking me to leave after arbitrarily calculating several hundred million? I cannot accept this, and when I asked them to manage according to the contract until the end, I lost contact for the umpteenth time. Who is violating the contract?”
Yong Jun-hyung announced the establishment of his independent label Black Made in October 2022 and embarked on a solo career. Black Made is known to be a subsidiary of Big Planet Made Entertainment, which has One Hundred Label, co-founded by MC Mong and Cha Ga-won, as its parent company. One Hundred Label includes The Boyz and Kim Dae-ho, while Big Planet Made includes Taemin, Lee Seung-gi, Lee Soo-geun, Ha Sung-woon, Lee Mu-jin, and BIBI.
