In the final episode of the Wave original 'Blood Game Season 3' (hereafter 'Blood Game 3'), which was released on the 17th, Hong Jin-ho, Crocodile, and Heo Seong-beom, who made it to the final round and showcased outstanding performances, shared honest behind-the-scenes stories to soothe the viewers' disappointment. From their feelings after finishing the survival game to memorable episodes, we present a Q&A interview capturing the untold stories of the three.
Hong Jin-ho said, "I have participated in several survival games, but this 'Blood Game 3' was particularly tough both mentally and physically. Still, I want to say thank you to all the cast and crew who have worked hard together as we finally put a period to it," and added, "If there is a next season, I will have to see about my willingness to participate then, but right now, not long after the game has ended, I want to rest."
Crocodile stated, "This season allowed me to learn a lot from good people, and I realized many of my shortcomings. I want to work harder to fill those gaps, and I am grateful to have been invited to a season with such legendary figures," and said, "If there is a next season, I would like to participate when I feel that my shortcomings have been filled."
Heo Seong-beom expressed, "It was an opportunity to test my abilities to the limit and experience growth once again in the process. It was a truly happy moment to be able to push my brain to the extreme after a long time, and it was an honor to compete among brothers and sisters from whom I could learn and be inspired," he conveyed.
He continued, "There were many difficult moments when I wanted to give up, but thanks to my strong mental strength and colleagues who became as precious as family, I was able to endure, so I believe I gained many valuable assets personally. Right after this season ended, I wasn't very willing to re-participate because the shock hadn't worn off, but as the broadcast was released, I learned the honest feelings of the participants who shared the ups and downs with me and the behind-the-scenes stories I didn't know, which naturally sparked a strong desire for the next season. As a newcomer who has just experienced a proper survival game for the first time, I hope there will be another opportunity to use what I have learned and felt. I have learned a lot from watching and thinking next to Dong-min hyung," he shared.

2. This season captivated viewers with various episodes, including games set in mansions, paradises, and ruins, as well as psychological battles between players. Among them, if you had to pick one episode that stands out the most, what would it be? Please share your reasons.
Hong Jin-ho: Among the various episodes, I honestly don't think there was a moment where my play stood out. Personally, I think the plays of Dong-min hyung, who consistently showed great prominence with various strategies throughout the overall episodes, are what I remember most from this 'Blood Game 3'.
Crocodile: There were many episodes, but I still vividly remember when I was kidnapped by Dong-min hyung's team in the mansion and immediately attacked by Steve's team as soon as I arrived at the paradise, getting dragged to the ruins. So much happened in such a short time, and I felt a lot of pressure joining a new team, and I struggled a lot while being dragged to the ruins, making it an unforgettable episode for me.
Heo Seong-beom: Personally, I think the good vs. evil game is the most memorable. Given the emotional rifts with other participants due to previous incidents, it was a political game rather than a simple brain battle, and it was the moment when the mask I had barely maintained in this survival game truly crumbled. It was the first time I played on the opposite side from Dong-min hyung, whom I had been playing with until then, and it was both painful and fun to have to forcibly team up with other players I had been in conflict with. Especially the fact that I had to send MJ, who was as precious as family, to the death match made me feel so sad and heartbroken, thinking, 'If this person is gone, who will I eat with and talk to from tomorrow?'
3. During the course of 'Blood Game Season 3', various reactions poured in. Among them, what was the most memorable reaction? I'm curious about what people around you said.
Hong Jin-ho: I think I heard the most comments telling me to stop eating. (laughs) I didn't realize I was eating snacks so often on set, but I think it was because I was under quite a bit of mental stress. Personally, it was a season with many disappointing aspects, but I am grateful that many people liked and supported me just by watching me.
Crocodile: I remember when I came in first place in the individual competition in episode 13. I received good evaluations for showing my deduction skills in the angel and devil game, but since I still don't know how to play general games, many people said they would acknowledge me if I did well in the next game. In the final direct game, I came in first place with a strategic play that involved controlling my opponent while also securing my own score, which earned me a lot of praise for showing good play.
Heo Seong-beom: Many people around me have been sending clips of me crying. Some were surprised, asking if I could cry like that, and others contacted me saying they started watching 'Blood Game 3' after seeing me cry. I think this might be the time I've received the most messages since the lineup was revealed before the first episode, when existing fans of the 'Blood Game' series excitedly contacted me saying, "You're coming out here!"
Friends teased me for crying, while fans empathized and shared in my sadness, and even people who didn't know me well reached out to say they became fans because of that scene, for which I am very grateful. After crying, I felt regretful for showing such an ugly side, but I am just thankful that many people liked it. I appreciate 'Blood Game 3' for being a precious opportunity to show my face and name to those who didn't know me. If I have another chance to greet you, I want to surprise the viewers with a newer and better version of myself.
