Kim Billy, the CEO of the independent music label Billy Bean Music, has raised allegations of unfair contracts and tampering against the production company MPMG.

On the 24th, CEO Kim Billy mentioned the unfair contract and tampering allegations related to the Mnet band audition program 'Great Seoul Invasion,' in which Billy Bean Music artist Yoo Da-bin participated.

Billy Bean Music claims that the production company of 'Great Seoul Invasion' promised to sign a 'consignment contract upon winning' during the program's participation, but after Yoo Da-bin's band won, they unilaterally changed the contract form to an 'agency contract' without prior consultation or agreement.

Furthermore, despite Yoo Da-bin already having a valid exclusive contract with Billy Bean Music, MPMG attempted an illegal double contract by forcing a separate contract with Yoo Da-bin under the team name 'Yoo Da-bin Band,' completely excluding the existing agency.

Additionally, the production company also ignored basic procedures, stating that they converted the promised consignment contract to an agency contract for the unilateral reason of 'poor viewership,' without any discussion regarding the related contract or reasons for the change.

Billy Bean Music has demanded explanations from the MPMG representative multiple times regarding this unfair situation, but all they received in return was a formal and insincere apology of "I'm sorry," which they believe completely disregards the rights and efforts of the agency.

Finally, CEO Kim Billy demanded the disclosure of the promised contract, an official explanation of the circumstances surrounding the double contract, respect for the existing contract and rights protection, prevention of recurrence, and an official apology from MPMG to protect the rights of the affiliated artists and create a fair music industry ecosystem.
