The wife of the ‘old-fashioned couple’ on ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ realized her husband’s gaslighting.

In the episode aired on the 16th, the lawyer consultation of the old-fashioned couple was depicted.

On that day, the wife said, “In fact, I dislike the word ‘burden’. It gives the impression that I was forced to do something I didn’t want to do. I was just doing my own work.” Lawyer Yang Na-rae commented, “I think the husband has really brainwashed her well. Generally, household chores and childcare are things that couples should do together, so it’s understandable that she feels wronged for having done it alone. Nowadays, if a party says this in court, they might even get scolded by the judge.”

In an interview, the wife revealed, “I thought I was right all along, but when I was told I was brainwashed, I started to think, ‘Was I a fool?’ It was confusing.”

Regarding property issues, the wife said, “I don’t know much about my husband’s assets. I know he inherited land, but that has nothing to do with me. I don’t think I benefited from it.” Lawyer Yang Na-rae advised, “You never know what might happen, so I’ll say this. If you end up in a real divorce situation and don’t know your husband’s assets, you shouldn’t agree to a divorce. You need to know the assets clearly to receive your fair share. You should go through the process of identifying them through litigation.”

After finishing the lawyer consultation, the wife asked her husband about his salary. When he avoided the question, she became furious, saying, “Am I a fool? I must have been a fool. Was I intentionally living with a fool?” To this, the husband replied, “Still, there has been a positive change in just a few days. I realized I had been living as a fool all this time.”

Meanwhile, ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ airs every Thursday at 10:10 PM.
