On that day, Mr. Hwang said, "I can't stand sweating. I don't like skin contact." When Young-ja from the 16th season asked, "Do you hold hands with your girlfriend?" Mr. Hwang immediately replied, "I do." He added, "I do everything. I don't refrain just because it hurts. Was that too R-rated?"
In an interview with the production team, Mr. Hwang stated, "(Skinship) is a significant part of non-verbal expression, so I recognize that it can be done to some extent and is important. However, I don't find that act extremely repulsive. It's hard, but it's good."
When the production team asked, "Is your body tired but your mind is good?" Mr. Hwang explained, "It's good both mentally and physically. Because I'm a man. But I don't really prefer it that much. I think I lean more towards the platonic side compared to others."
