Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun make their final move.
In the final episode of KBS2's Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ (directed by Jo Rok-hwan, written by Hwang Ye-jin), Cha Jeong-woo (played by Lee Min-ki) and Lee Min-hyung (played by Han Ji-hyun) put an end to the truth-seeking of a murder case that occurred seven years ago.
Previously, the scene where Jeong-woo and Woo-jin express their pent-up anger over the collapsed Yoon Seo-hee (played by Yang So-min) and the case of Yoon Hye-jin (played by Ha Young) from seven years ago soared to 3.4% (Nielsen Korea nationwide), creating a tense atmosphere in the living rooms.
In this broadcast, Jeong-woo and Min-hyung choose a straightforward approach to uncover all circumstances related to the murder case of Jeong-woo's girlfriend Hye-jin that occurred seven years ago.
Jeong-woo visits Han Woo-jin (played by Lee Yi-kyung) and insists that while it is true he accidentally injured his head, Hye-jin's cause of death was not a simple accident. He also provokes Woo-jin with words that irritate him.
Min-hyung presents documents from the National Forensic Service to Team Leader Choi Hyung-il (played by Lee Jae-ha), who was in charge of the investigation at the time, claiming that there were issues with the investigation because the documents were missing when Jin-seok was sent to the prosecution. However, despite Woo-jin and Team Leader Choi presenting evidence, they strongly deny the matter.
A retrial for Jin-seok (played by Yoon Jeong-il), who was identified as the true culprit in the Hye-jin murder case seven years ago and is Min-hyung's biological brother, is held. The lawyer for the retrial, Park Chae-kyung (played by Kang Da-hyun), submits Woo-jin's DNA test results and claims his innocence. As the judge's every word draws attention, viewers are left wondering if Jin-seok can clear his unjust charges as hoped by Min-hyung and their mother.
After the trial ends, Jeong-woo, who has been waiting for him, cautiously opens his mouth as if to say something. Jeong-woo then offers a heartfelt apology, leaving Jin-seok bewildered. The conversation exchanged between the two former adversaries raises anticipation for how their relationship will change in the final broadcast.
The final episode of ‘Face Me’ will air on the 12th at 9:50 PM.
