Yoon Do-hyun of the band YB has expressed his support for the remake of 'White Whale' by the junior girl band QWER.
On the 8th, Yoon Do-hyun left a comment on the special clip of 'White Whale' posted on QWER's official YouTube, starting with "This is Yoon Do-hyun." He stated, "The permission for a remake means there is trust in that artist," and evaluated, "This song is a really well-done remake."
He continued, "Conveying the original message in a vague boundary that is neither too similar nor too different is by no means an easy task," adding, "In that regard, I think it is a sufficiently high-quality result."
Yoon Do-hyun sincerely wished, "I hope only blessings fill QWER's future, and that tears, sadness, and loneliness are transformed into music."
QWER released their special single 'White Whale' on the 6th.
This song is one of YB's representative tracks released in 2011, composed by Heo Jun and written by Yoon Do-hyun.
