Blackpink member Jennie showcased her presence as 'Human Chanel'. The aura she exuded drew global attention, overshadowing the racial discrimination controversy faced by her bandmate Rosé.

On the 6th (local time), Jennie attended the Chanel 2026 SS (Spring/Summer) collection show held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France, as a global ambassador.

Jennie paired a light blue viscose top and skirt setup with a light yellow flap bag from the collection. Additionally, she enhanced the luxurious atmosphere with smoky makeup and wet-looking wavy hair.

Prior to Jennie's global presence, Rosé also participated in the recent 'Saint Laurent Fashion Show', where he faced discomfort due to the actions of a local magazine that exhibited racial discrimination.

The British fashion magazine Elle UK sparked controversy by posting a group photo from the fashion show that cut out Rosé, despite his presence. This racial discrimination controversy was exacerbated by a photo posted by Charli XCX on social media, which featured Rosé shaded out. Seemingly aware of the backlash, Charli later shared a photo of the two together to clarify the situation.

Fans around the world reacted collectively, pointing out and criticizing the incident.

Since being appointed as the first Korean global ambassador for Saint Laurent in 2020, Rosé has served as an iconic image for the brand. In January of this year, he was additionally selected as the global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, further solidifying his position.

Despite this, criticism of the local magazine's behavior did not easily subside, and they eventually issued an official apology stating, "Rosé was cut from the group photo to adjust the photo size. There was no intention to offend anyone."

Meanwhile, Jennie and Rosé's group Blackpink is currently on their world tour 'Deadline'.
