TWICE, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, will release a special album on October 10.
JYP Entertainment announced the news of the special album by revealing a 10th anniversary timetable image on TWICE's official SNS channel on the 19th at 8 PM.
According to the announcement, TWICE will engage in rich promotions including a prologue film, online cover, posters, streaming of hit songs and world tour, and music video teasers, with the special album 'TEN: The Story Goes On' set to be released on October 10 at 1 PM.
The prologue film, which opened at midnight on the 20th, delivered the fun of watching a lively sitcom. The nine members showcased a unique 10th anniversary talent show themed around '10', featuring acts like a 10-ton strength show, crying in 10 seconds, and pressing a buzzer in 10 seconds, bringing laughter to viewers.
In the latter part of the video, scenes of failing the talent show mission and cheering while holding a trophy highlighted the members' natural charm. TWICE has heightened the anticipation of fans worldwide, known as ONCE, for the new special album with humorous content.
They are expanding their activities in this monumental year of their 10th anniversary in 2025, solidifying their status as a 'global top girl group.'
Recently, they participated in the original soundtrack of Netflix's global animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' with the song 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)', leading to worldwide success, and 'Strategy' also achieved a successful resurgence in popularity.
As evidence of this, both songs have set new personal bests for TWICE on various major global charts, including the US Billboard main chart 'Hot 100', Apple Music, Spotify, and the UK Official Chart, achieving career highs.
In August, they shone as the 'first K-pop girl group' headliner at Lollapalooza Chicago, showcasing explosive presence. Riding this momentum, they are successfully conducting their sixth world tour 'THIS IS FOR', featuring an innovative 360-degree open venue setup, traveling around the world.
Meanwhile, TWICE's special album 'TEN: The Story Goes On' will be officially released on October 10 at 1 PM.
