Kim Jong-kook will hold 'The Originals' on October 18 and 19 at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul.
As soon as ticket sales opened on the 15th, all performances sold out quickly, once again demonstrating Kim Jong-kook's widespread popularity over his 30-year career.
This concert will encompass Kim Jong-kook's musical journey, showcasing a diverse setlist from his hit songs during his Turbo days to his solo representative tracks.
Additionally, special stage productions and guest performances are prepared to express gratitude to the fans who have supported him unwaveringly over the years, raising expectations.
Kim Jong-kook stated, "I am who I am today thanks to the fans who have been with me for these long 30 years. This concert will be a festival-like stage created together with my fans."
The concert planning company mentioned, "Kim Jong-kook's music, which spans generations, and his sincere stage will be an unforgettable gift for fans," and added, "We are considering additional regional performances for fans who couldn't get tickets due to the quick sellout," easing their disappointment.
Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as part of the group Turbo, releasing hit songs like 'Black Cat Nero' and 'Love Is...'. He later transitioned to a solo artist, producing numerous hits such as 'One Man', 'Lovely', and 'Stagnation', establishing himself as a national singer who encompasses both ballads and dance. He has also consistently appeared on variety shows, maintaining active communication with the public through his friendly charm across all generations.
On the 5th, Kim Jong-kook held a wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity girlfriend. The wedding was conducted privately with about 100 attendees, including family, relatives, and close friends. The ceremony was hosted by 'National MC' Yoo Jae-suk.
