Model and actress Jang Yoon-joo revealed the reason why the military culture in the modeling industry has disappeared.
On the 16th, Jang Yoon-joo appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Theo’ in the episode of ‘Salon Drip 2’ along with Jeon Yeo-been and Joo Hyun-young.
On that day, Jeon Yeo-been opened the conversation by saying, “There’s a saying that Jang Yoon-joo is the one who eliminated the military culture in the modeling industry.”
In response, Jang Yoon-joo shared, “I was active during the time when seniors gathered juniors by their class and said ‘come together.’ At that time, I thought, ‘Why does it have to be like this?’”
She continued, “I have many juniors right below me, including Han Hye-jin. But Han Hye-jin is scary,” which drew laughter.
Jang Yoon-joo explained, “The seniors told us, ‘Now you guys take charge (of the military culture).’ Song Kyung-a and I kept pushing it off. We were also in our early 20s, so what could we enforce? After pushing it off, the day of reckoning came. We gathered the juniors saying ‘come together’ just like the seniors did. Anyway, we had to say something after gathering them, but Song Kyung-a and I burst out laughing. It ended up being a vague dissolution.
