Lisa, a member of the group BLACKPINK, won the 'Best K-Pop' category at the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' (hereafter 'MTV VMA').

On the 7th (local time), at the award ceremony held at the UBS Arena in New York, Lisa was named the winner of 'Best K-Pop' for her song 'Born Again,' featuring American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Ray.

Unable to attend the ceremony, Lisa expressed her gratitude through a pre-recorded video. She said, "I am honored to receive this award. Thank you to the organizers. I also want to thank Doja Cat and Ray for collaborating on this special music. Additionally, I am grateful to the producing team that helped me."

She added, "If it weren't for my fans, I wouldn't have been able to do anything," expressing her gratitude to her global fans.

In this category, not only Lisa but all four members of BLACKPINK were nominated, proving their exceptional global popularity. Rosé was nominated for 'Toxic Till the End,' Jennie for 'Like Jennie,' and Jisoo for 'Earthquake.'

Meanwhile, at the same ceremony, Rosé had the honor of winning Song of the Year for her song 'Apartment,' in collaboration with pop artist Bruno Mars.
