'Show Me The Money 12' is launching an open recruitment for rappers ahead of its new season.

Mnet announced that the open recruitment for rappers for 'Show Me The Money 12' will take place from the 20th to September 26, anticipating the enthusiastic participation of talented rappers from both domestic and international backgrounds.

'Show Me The Money' is the first hip-hop survival program in Korea that has continued the popularization of Korean hip-hop and holds the record for the most seasons of any survival program in South Korea. It has produced numerous star rappers such as Loco, Bobby, BewhY, Lil Boy, and Lee Young-ji, establishing itself as a 'gateway for rappers' while generating hit songs and various catchphrases each season, proving its nationwide popularity.

The teaser video released on the 20th revealed a revamped first preliminary round format, raising expectations. In addition to the four regional preliminaries in Korea, a global preliminary was announced, indicating a larger scale for this season. The first preliminary round, which was previously conducted in a single region, will now be subdivided into major regions across the country, allowing participants to meet directly in various locations including Seoul, Gwangju, Busan, and Jeju. With the addition of a global preliminary, it is expected that rappers of various nationalities will participate, drawing attention to the unprecedented scale that 'Show Me The Money 12' will present.

This season's open recruitment is open to anyone without restrictions on genre, experience, or nationality, providing an opportunity for rappers who want to showcase their unique personalities and skills on stage.

'Show Me The Money 12' is set to present more intense and diverse stages than ever before, along with unpredictable competition dynamics. The production team stated, "We expect many challenges from artists who possess both skill and individuality," and added, "We look forward to many applications from domestic and international participants who can freely showcase their own colors on stage."
