The group Cortis revealed that they received support from BTS before their debut.

Cortis (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, Gunho) held their debut showcase on the 18th at 2 PM at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

On this day, when asked if he felt pressure about debuting as a rookie under Big Hit Music, Martin said, "It would be a lie to say I don't feel any. Since there are many outstanding seniors, I am working hard with a sense of responsibility to do better."

He also mentioned that they received encouragement from their senior artists before their debut. Seonghyeon said, "We had the opportunity to meet our seniors BTS and Tomorrow X Together. BTS cheered us on by saying, 'I hope you do well,' and Tomorrow X Together provided feedback on our expressions, which was very helpful."

In response, Martin smiled and said, "I saw the BTS seniors at J-Hope's concert. They told us to appreciate what we have, not to take it for granted, and to be humble. They also supported us a lot."

Meanwhile, Cortis is the third team launched by Big Hit Music, known as the 'home of boy groups,' following BTS in 2013 and Tomorrow X Together in 2019. They will release their debut title track 'What You Want' on the 18th at 6 PM and officially release their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' on September 8.
