Veteran composer Song Kwang-ho, who is also famous as a singing class instructor, has signed a partnership with Good Day Entertainment.
Good Day Entertainment announced on the 26th, "We have signed a partnership contract with Song Kwang-ho, who is actively working as a hit maker and singing class instructor," adding, "We will be responsible for systematic schedule management for Song Kwang-ho and will also take charge of album production for our artists, including Yoon Tae-hwa."
Song Kwang-ho began his career as a composer in 1989 with Park Nam-jung's "Goodbye My Love" and has created numerous hit songs, including Jin Mi-ryung's "Hateful Love," Moon Hee-ok's "Parallel Line," and Seo Ji-o's "Namiga." He gained recognition in the music industry by winning the grand prize at the 1997 MBC Nan-young Song Festival, and he continues to be active in creative work, recently presenting songs like Kim Ho-jung's "Halmuni," Ahn Seong-hoon's "Even for a Moment," Jeon Yu-jin's "Go," and Yoon Tae-hwa's "Last Stop."
For his contributions, he has received awards such as the Contribution Award at the 'Korea Traditional Music Awards' and the Popular Music Development Contribution Award at the 'Korea Arts and Culture Star Awards.' He is currently serving as a judge on KBS1's 'National Singing Contest' and has been teaching at 11 singing schools, producing numerous 'singing students.'
A representative from Good Day Entertainment stated, "We expect many great songs to be born through our collaboration with composer Song Kwang-ho," and added, "This will be a great support for Yoon Tae-hwa, who is celebrating his 16th anniversary since debut, especially with the recent release of 'Last Stop'."
