SHINee's Key mentioned the Netflix original animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (hereafter referred to as 'KDEH').
On the afternoon of the 11th, a press conference was held to commemorate the release of Key's third studio album 'Hunter' at the Pullman Ambassador Seoul Eastpole located in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The venue was filled with reporters eager to see Key.
On this day, Key referenced the title track 'Hunter' in relation to the Netflix original animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (hereafter referred to as 'KDEH'). He stated, "The word 'Hunter' was not created with 'KDEH' in mind at all. I really didn't know," waving his hands in denial.
He continued, "I wanted to try the punk rock genre for a long time and worked without lowering my vocal range. However, I was surprised that 'KDEH's 'Golden' is trending as a high note challenge. I thought it was a good coincidence that there are high notes in my 'Hunter' as well."
This album is Key's new studio album released three years after his second studio album 'Gasoline', which was announced in August 2022. It contains various stories about 'self' and 'identity'.
The album consists of a total of 10 tracks, including the title track 'Hunter', and all songs will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the same day. The music video for the title track will be released simultaneously on the SMTOWN YouTube channel.
To celebrate the comeback of his third studio album, Key will hold a solo concert titled '2025 Keyland: Uncanny Valley' at the Ticketlink Live Arena (formerly the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium) in Olympic Park, Seoul, from September 26 to 28, and will also tour in Taipei, Tokyo, and other locations.
