BTS's J-Hope has set a new record for Korean solo artists on the Billboard charts in the United States.

According to the latest chart released by the American music media Billboard on the 24th (for the week of June 28), J-Hope's new song 'Killin' It Girl' has entered the main song chart 'Hot 100' at number 40. Additionally, J-Hope has achieved his highest ranking on the 'Hot 100' with this song, surpassing his previous best of 60th place with the solo single 'on the street' released in 2023.

J-Hope has made a remarkable achievement by placing all three songs from his solo single project on the 'Hot 100' this year. The final song of the solo single project, 'Killin' It Girl', recorded the highest ranking, showcasing his growing popularity as his activities continue.

'Killin' It Girl' also showed strong performance on detailed charts. It secured 2nd place on the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart and 3rd place on the 'Global 200', marking its position in the top tier. This is the first time J-Hope has entered the 'Top 5' on these two charts. Additionally, 'MONA LISA' re-entered the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart at 150th place. Furthermore, 'Killin' It Girl' topped the 'Digital Song Sales' chart.

Meanwhile, J-Hope's 'Killin' It Girl' is a hip-hop genre song that expresses the overwhelming excitement of falling for someone at first sight. The song entered the UK Official Chart 'Official Singles Top 100' at 30th place for the week of June 20-26, achieving the highest ranking for J-Hope's solo songs.
