BTS member J-Hope shared his thoughts on the conclusion of the world tour in Seoul.
On the 13th, the first performance of J-Hope's world tour encore concert 'J-Hope on the Stage: Final' was held at Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. The concert will run for two days until tomorrow. Both days of the performance sold out, showcasing his global popularity. Each show accommodates 27,000 people, bringing a total of 54,000 fans.
The concerts held in February at the Seoul Gymnastics Arena also sold out, including restricted view seats. This performance garnered significant attention as it marks the grand finale of his world tour.
J-Hope opened the show with a spectacular performance of 'What If' from his solo debut album. Standing on stage with a standing microphone, he resembled a rock star making a grand return. His impressive rapping further heated up the concert venue.
Following that, J-Hope passionately performed 'Pandora's Box', 'Fire', and 'Stop', greeting the audience with, "I am J-Hope of BTS." He engaged fans from the ground level to the upper tiers, captivating the audience with his seasoned stage presence.
J-Hope expressed, "I can't believe it. We started in Seoul and had a tour for three months, and now we've finally reached the final. It’s drizzling a bit, which I think will make the concert even more fun. I hope you enjoy it so much that you can't tell if what you're sweating is rain or sweat," adding, "But the most important thing is safety."
During the performance of 'More', all the fans stood up to breathe in his stage presence more deeply.
Previously, J-Hope had gathered around 470,000 spectators across 31 performances in 15 cities, including Seoul, Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles, solidifying his status as a solo artist worldwide.
This concert symbolizes 'J-Hope on the stage' while conveying a message of hope, wishes, and dreams being realized on stage. The performance reflects on J-Hope's journey and is structured around five themes: 'Ambition', 'Dream', 'Expectation', 'Imagination', and 'Wish'.
