Singer Jung Dong-won's last nationwide tour concert in his teens has successfully concluded.
The 'Jung Dong-won Story 3rd Nationwide Tour Concert (hereafter referred to as the 'Fairy Tale' concert) wrapped up successfully with the Daejeon performance held at Chungnam National University’s Jeongsimhwa Hall on May 31 and June 1. Starting with the Seoul performance at Olympic Park Olympic Hall in March, he met with a total of 35,000 audience members across seven cities, including Busan, Daegu, and Seongnam.
This nationwide tour was held to commemorate the release of his second regular album 'Gift from the Tall Man' after three years. In particular, it garnered much anticipation and interest from fans as it was Jung Dong-won's last solo concert in his teens, while he is currently in his third year of high school.
Jung Dong-won showcased new songs including the double title tracks 'Heung!' and 'Flower Lantern', and he also performed 'Boritgo' and 'Yeobaek', which gained attention when he first introduced them on 'Mr. Trot' in 2020, drawing enthusiastic responses after six years. With a deeper emotional expression, he perfectly delivered songs from various genres, showcasing his growth as an artist and moving the audience.
Additionally, during the performances of the regular second album tracks 'Only U', 'Show Up', and 'The Age to Confess Love', the exciting melodies combined with rich and diverse performances added even more vibrancy. The audience responded positively, saying, "The songs are even better on stage," and the concert received acclaim for being enjoyable for people of all ages.
An event corner where audience members shared their stories in advance and performed duet stages evoked a range of emotions, creating a buzz on social media. The audience looked forward to new event corners that would unfold at each performance, adding even more fun.
At the final performance, Jung Dong-won expressed, "I sincerely thank all the audience members who came to my last nationwide tour concert in my teens," and added, "Please look forward to the Jung Dong-won in his 20s, who will continue to grow."
