Megabox announced on the 6th that it will open the 4D special theater 'MEGA | MX4D' at Suwon AK Plaza in Gyeonggi-do on the 13th.

With this, the Megabox Suwon AK Plaza will have the third 'MEGA | MX4D' screening room, following the existing 'Dolby Cinema' and those at COEX and Hanam Starfield, providing a more diverse special theater experience for audiences in the southern metropolitan area.

The 'MEGA | MX4D', which will open on the 13th at Megabox Suwon AK Plaza, has 176 seats and is a 4D special theater where 15 types of motion chairs and environmental effects are expressed in various ways according to the scenes in the movie, including movement, vibration, water, wind, scent, fog, snow, and rain. The effects are detailed and impactful, following the story without disturbing the viewing experience, offering audiences a unique experience as if they have entered the movie.

To celebrate the opening of 'MEGA | MX4D' at Suwon AK Plaza, Megabox will hold various events. First, from the 13th to the 19th, an opening commemorative exhibition will be held. Works such as , , , and will meet the audience, allowing them to fully experience the strengths of 'MEGA | MX4D'. All attendees of the exhibition will receive mini popcorn, and posters will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

From the 13th to the 31st of next month, a 'MEGA | MX4D' stamp event will be held, where 100% of prizes will be given away. Depending on the number of times viewers watch 'MEGA | MX4D' at Suwon AK Plaza, they will receive ▲ 50% discount coupon for popcorn (R) ▲ free popcorn (R) coupon ▲ 'MEGA | MX4D' 1+1 viewing coupon and single combo free coupon, and those who watch more than three times will be entered into a draw to receive a '2025 Megabox Diary'.
