Singer Harim announced that he received a notice of cancellation from an event organized by a national agency.

On the 13th, Harim posted on his SNS, “At this time, when the wounds of the martial law have not completely healed, I suddenly received a notice of cancellation for an event organized by a national agency that is just a few days away.”

Harim stated, “The reason is that I sang in the square last year,” adding, “It seems that the situation, which led to a noisy interview, was uncomfortable for someone. Is it because I have many sins that I am afraid to sing?”

He continued, “I said it was okay, considering the awkward situation of the apologetic planner and the innocent staff, but I feel that this is not right for the other colleagues and juniors who sang together, so I leave this here.”

Harim also mentioned, “Since it is a youth-related event between North and South Korea, I decided to participate despite the low guarantee, and the decision made on something that already had a poster could only lead to misunderstandings like another blacklist. I wonder if those above are aware of this,” and added, “Friends, the more this happens, let’s continue to sing about love, resistance, and freedom.”

Harim publicly criticized the declaration of martial law while performing on stage calling for the resignation of former President Yoon Suk-yeol last December.
