Singer Song Ga-in has set a new record for initial sales of female trot singers just two days after releasing her 4th studio album.

According to the album charting site Hanteo Chart, Song Ga-in's 4th studio album 'Ga-in; Moon' recorded sales of 18,636 copies as of the 12th. Additionally, it topped the Hanteo Chart's daily album chart, proving her status as the 'Queen of Trot.'

The sales of 18,636 copies is the highest ever for a female trot singer. As she surpassed the previous record in just two days, attention is focused on whether she can become the first female trot singer to break 20,000 copies in initial sales by the end of the counting period.

The performance of 'Ga-in; Moon' on music charts is also remarkable. On the day of its release, the 11th, all tracks from 'Ga-in; Moon' entered the music charts, surprising everyone. The pre-released title track 'Tears Are Falling,' released in January, also successfully charted upon release, proving her exceptional presence.

Released on the 11th, 'Ga-in; Moon' is Song Ga-in's 4th studio album, coming about 2 years and 10 months after her last release. It includes a total of 9 tracks, featuring double title tracks 'Asadal' and 'Tears Are Falling,' produced by Shim Soo-bong, as well as the self-penned song 'Lifetime,' showcasing a variety of genres including traditional trot and trot ballads, revealing a new side of Song Ga-in.

Following the release of her 4th studio album 'Ga-in; Moon,' Song Ga-in plans to communicate with the public through various programs and performances.
