The new career paths of trot singers Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho are drawing attention.
Eun Ga-eun has been engaged in a legal battle regarding a request for a suspension of the validity of her exclusive contract with TSM Entertainment. She claims that TSM Entertainment failed to pay her settlement on time and did not provide the requested supporting documents.
Eun Ga-eun's side pointed out, “The documents related to the settlement amount that Eun Ga-eun received are materials arbitrarily organized by the agency without objective evidence. Not only do the amounts not match, but there are also indications of embezzlement.”
Ultimately, Eun Ga-eun notified TSM, with whom she had been for four years, of the termination of her exclusive contract. Although TSM issued a rebuttal to Eun Ga-eun's sudden declaration of separation, it seems that the situation had already become difficult for them to continue together.
In this situation, her partner Park Hyun-ho also left his agency, Star It Entertainment. Despite having time left on his exclusive contract, Star It Entertainment decided to terminate the contract early. In relation to this, Star It Entertainment stated to Maeil Business Star Today, “We concluded things well without any issues raised. There is nothing more to say now that the contract has ended,” avoiding a specific answer.
Some speculate that Eun Ga-eun had a significant influence on Park Hyun-ho's decision to end his contract. With the couple confirming their marriage in April of this year, it is interpreted that Eun Ga-eun is trying to resolve the settlement issue with her agency and embrace Park Hyun-ho to promise to move forward together.
Looking at the industry situation, Eun Ga-eun's event fee is known to be quite high. In particular, she has raised her value not only by performing on stage as a singer but also by serving as an MC for events.
As a result, there is a growing opinion that Eun Ga-eun, whose personal capabilities are sufficiently guaranteed, may establish an agency with her partner Park Hyun-ho and continue their activities as singers.
As the new year approaches and with their marriage on the horizon, attention is focused on what steps the two will take in the future.
