Rookie singer Chanwool is set to release the audio for his debut single 'Thank You'.
Chanwool has gained recognition for his unique, sophisticated, and delicate voice, emotional expression, and outstanding song interpretation, earning him the nickname 'Sugar Voice'. He has covered many songs, not only in ballads but also in pop numbers.
The song 'Thank You', which will be released at noon on the 23rd, is a remake of the original by Jo Hang-jo, loved by various age groups, and has been reinterpreted with an emotional singing style unique to Chanwool. The combination of guitar sounds infused with pop charm and awakening vocals has created a fresh take on 'Thank You'.
The song's production shows the affection of the composer, Algoboni Honsoostate, who arranged it personally for Chanwool's successful debut, with contributions from composers Choi Cheol-hoon and Yeo Jae-min. The smooth and calm vocals are enveloped by rich string performances and chorus, conveying a heartfelt gratitude to "all those who have protected my life".
In particular, the climax of the song, "At this age, I am still grateful to have met you," amplifies the emotion with Chanwool's restrained singing, enhancing the impact. The live clip released alongside the audio will also showcase Chanwool's Sugar Voice charm.
Chanwool expressed special gratitude to his senior singer and CEO of I Am Potent, Hong Jin-young. He said, "Thanks to the advice to resolve my military service issues and return, I was able to complete my service and debut with a lighter heart."
He continued, "As the first artist to release a debut song under the agency, I will work even harder to sing," and expressed his determination, saying, "I want to be a singer who can bring happiness through my music and be someone people can turn to when they want to rest and relax."
