BTS member Jimin has set a new record on the US Billboard charts.
According to the latest chart released by the American music media Billboard on the 22nd (as of January 25), Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' has maintained its position on the main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number 118 for 26 weeks, breaking the record for the longest charting by a K-Pop solo artist.
Despite being released in July of last year, the album still ranks high at number 3 on the 'World Albums' chart, and the title track 'Who' has landed at number 41 on the main song chart 'Hot 100'. Additionally, 'Who' is positioned at 21 on the 'Global (excluding the US)' and 'Global 200' charts, and at 29 on the 'Streaming Songs' chart. It has also shown resilience by re-entering the 'Digital Song Sales' chart at number 23.
V's 'Winter Ahead' is fulfilling its role as a winter gift. Released in November last year, this song ranked 109 on the 'Global (excluding the US)' and 185 on the 'Global 200' charts.
The solo works of Jin and Jungkook are also consistently loved. Jin's solo album 'Happy' is at number 16 on the 'World Albums' chart and number 50 on the 'Top Current Album Sales' chart. The title track 'Running Wild' has charted at 132 on the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart. Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' has charted for a total of 79 weeks on the 'Global (excluding the US)' (74) and 78 weeks on the 'Global 200' (115) charts.
BTS's albums continue to enjoy strong popularity, raising expectations for their full group activities. The anthology album 'Proof' has remained at number 6 on the 'World Albums' chart for 136 weeks.
