The 'God of Performance' NCT 127 has taken over Gocheok Dome.
The 'NCT 127 4TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM’ held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 18th and 19th recorded a full house, and both performances were live-streamed on the global platform Beyond LIVE and Weverse, allowing approximately 50,000 fans to enjoy the show both online and offline, showcasing NCT 127's immense power and status.
From the first section featuring 'Gas', 'Faster', 'Bring The Noize', and 'Racing', NCT 127 displayed explosive momentum and ambition fitting the concert title 'THE MOMENTUM' with grand productions and intense performances. The overwhelming production, stage, and narrative that seamlessly connected the VCRs filled the dome, and the members' unyielding energy evoked the feeling of a blockbuster movie, heating up Gocheok Dome with joy and cheers.
In particular, the performance of 'Far', which dominated the venue with a large group of dancers and flag performances, and the thrilling stages of 'Hero', 'Fact Check', and 'Creak' delivered chills with high-level choreography and outstanding live vocals, culminating in a climax that made Gocheok Dome resonate with the audience's chants, once again proving why NCT 127 is called the 'God of Performance.'
Additionally, the 16-meter-long slope lift performance that moved like a joint in 'Skyscraper', the dazzling laser show that created chains as the song title suggests in 'Chain', the umbrella performance that splashed raindrops like a scene from a musical in 'Rain Drop', and the retro production that evoked emotions in 'Like a Movie' with a circular screen floating in the air, along with 'Yunseul', which adorned the ceiling with a galaxy, all showcased an unprecedented scale of stages that left the audience in awe.
Moreover, the VCR depicting NCT 127's narrative of overcoming hardships and becoming a stronger team was filmed in a cinema scope ratio, enhancing the immersive experience. The concert featured a massive 90-meter wide and 15-meter tall LED screen, 110 lasers deployed in the largest scale in Gocheok Dome's history, six lifts creating a pyramid shape, two slope lifts measuring 10 meters wide and 2 meters tall installed on either side, conveyor belts, moving vehicles, pyrotechnics, fire columns, confetti, and innovative screen productions that amplified the charm of each song, resulting in an unprecedented masterpiece.
The audience, packed into the seats, created a stunning scene with waves of pearl neon champagne (NCT's official color) using fan lights, coloring Gocheok Dome, and showing perfect synergy with NCT 127 through explosive cheers and chants at every moment. They expressed their deep affection for the members through slogan events containing phrases like 'Our story with NCT will never end' and 'I want to believe in the eternity that NCT has shown us', as well as chant events for 'Let's understand the meaning of saying I love you' and 'TOUCH'.
As the concert concluded, NCT 127 stated, "We put in more effort every moment with the mindset of not doing a boring stage. Every time I see the members on stage, I feel really proud and always have a great sense of pride," adding, "I will remember the cheers from the fans (known as 'Sizeni') who filled Gocheok Dome for a lifetime, and I am grateful for making us feel like a beloved team. We will continue to be NCT 127 moving forward, so I hope you will stay with us on our journey for a long time."
Meanwhile, after successfully completing the Seoul concert, NCT 127 will embark on their fourth world tour, visiting 14 cities worldwide.
