The group Ailet has achieved the highest ranking for a K-Pop group on the annual year-end chart by Billboard in the United States.
According to the year-end charts for 2024 announced by the American music media Billboard on the 13th (local time), Ailet's debut song 'Magnetic' ranked 61st on the 'Global 200' and 29th on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)'. This is the highest ranking for a K-Pop group's song.
Not only that, Ailet also ranked 68th on the 'Global 200 Artists' and 48th on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.) Artists', charting in a total of four categories. Notably, they are the only group that debuted in 2024 to be listed on the 'Global 200 Artists', highlighting the syndrome-level popularity of Ailet that has spread worldwide since their debut.
Debuting in March of this year, Ailet caused a seismic shift in global charts with 'Magnetic'. This song made history as the first K-Pop debut song to enter Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' (for the week of April 20) and the UK's 'Official Singles Top 100' (for the week of April 5).
Additionally, 'Magnetic' secured the highest ranking among K-Pop songs on the annual charts released by global platforms such as Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok for 2024, showcasing its exceptional commercial power.
