BTS V's solo songs are achieving remarkable success on global music charts.
BTS V's collaboration with Bing Crosby, the carol 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)', entered the UK Official Chart at number 2 in both the 'Single Downloads' and 'Single Sales' categories on the 13th. The digital single 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)', featuring Park Hyo-shin, also charted for two consecutive weeks at 57th and 71st in each category.
Both songs are making their presence felt on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' and 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)' ranked 54th and 55th, respectively, in the latest 'Weekly Top Songs Global' (counting period: December 6-12). The songs, prepared as winter gifts for fans, have proven V's popularity by performing well on global charts. Through these tracks, V showcased his voice specialized in jazz music, which he has often expressed affection for.
'Love Me Again', a track from V's solo album 'Layover' released in September last year, has become the first of his solo songs to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify. This achievement has earned it a spot in the 'Billions Club' playlist, which collects songs that have exceeded 1 billion plays. The song has been charting for 70 weeks in the 'Weekly Top Songs Global'.
Other BTS members' solo songs have also performed well on this chart. Jin's title track 'Running Wild' from his first solo album 'Happy' ranked 33rd, while the pre-released song 'I’ll Be There' recorded 177th. Jimin's title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' reached 10th place, and Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' secured 86th place. In the latest 'Weekly Top Albums Global', 'MUSE' (15th) and 'Happy - :)(Remixes)' (41st) made the charts.
