
The team of the movie 'Firefighter' and the investment distributor, By4M Studio, have delivered donations to the Fire Agency.
On the 27th, director Kwak Kyung-taek of 'Firefighter', actor Joo Won, and representatives from By4M Studio fully delivered the 119 Won donation challenge funds at the Fire Agency located in Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Commissioner Heo Seok-gon).
Previously, 'Firefighter' conducted the '119 Won Donation Challenge', where for every ticket purchased by a paying audience member, 119 won was donated in cash for the improvement of equipment and treatment for firefighters in South Korea, with over 3.85 million viewers participating.
By4M Studio stated, "Thanks to the support of the audience who joined us with the movie 'Firefighter', we were able to make a meaningful contribution to the treatment fund for injured firefighters and the disaster relief fund for forest fires," and added, "We will continue to strive to create good challenges and campaigns alongside good movies in the future."
'Firefighter' is a film that captures the lives of firefighters who were deployed with the sole goal of extinguishing fires and rescuing everyone, even in the harsh conditions during the Hongje-dong fire disaster in 2001. It was released at the end of last year and successfully attracted 3.85 million viewers.
