Jeon Bae-soo revealed the reason for his appearance in ‘Monster Train’.

On the afternoon of the 24th, a preview and press conference for the movie ‘Monster Train’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Tak Se-woong and actors Joo Hyun-young, Jeon Bae-soo, and Choi Bo-min attended.

Jeon Bae-soo said, “I have done a lot of dramas, but I made my debut in film. These days, not many films are being produced. When I thought I wanted to do a movie, I received the script.”

He continued, “In dramas, the roles I usually take are mostly widowers, but I thought I could show a different side of myself. Since it’s a genre film, it sparked my curiosity.”

Regarding his reunion with Joo Hyun-young after ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, he said, “We didn’t get to interact much during ‘Woo Young-woo’. In this project, we got to work together a lot. It felt familiar, like meeting my daughter Woo Young-woo. Joo Hyun-young is very approachable and made me comfortable. She was a smart actress who quickly understood the director’s direction.”

‘Monster Train’ is a mystery horror film where Da-kyung (played by Joo Hyun-young), a horror YouTuber thirsty for views, uncovers the secrets of Gwangrim Station, where mysterious disappearances occur one after another, leading her to face horrific events. It will be released on July 9.
